I made all the kids a special treat of pudding oreo's and gummy worms. It was so much fun but a really big mess. Sorry!! LOL

This weekend was tons of fun and hard work. We finally got most of the house packed! Now we just have odds and ends to get in a box and that is more annoying to me than anything. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do right? Lol so this weekend we invited all of our friends that we have become really close to the last 2 years and we had a nice BBQ. It was so fun to have one last party with everyone I really care about here. Moving has definitely become bitter sweet for me. We have met so many great friends up here in Logan that have really influenced our lives for the good. There are a few that are not in the picture that Kyle and I also wanted to mention that have been such great friends Tyler and Amber Sorensen and Brett and Emily Hamilton. I just wanted to thank these families for all the love and kindness that they have shown us and for the great examples they are to us of the kind of friends and family we hope to be to others. WE LOVE YOU GUYS! WE WILL MISS YOU! THANKS FOR EVEYTHING!!!

This is what makes packing fun! It does not get any better than this! Kyle and I were listening to music while we were getting everything packed to move and this is what we found Kaden doing. LOL :) I know it is short but it makes me laugh so hard because this sums up our dancing time that we do everyday. Kaden never will dance like this for other people so I am so happy we got it on camera! I hope you all enjoy it! LOL :)

Ugh! Packing!!

Well it has been a fun few days since we got home. I have been trying to pack and get everything ready to move in between a few last minute fun activities. We have had fun this week swimming at the Buckner's and at the Logan Aquatic Center. Kaden is so predictable when we get together with other kids to play. It took him about 15 minutes to warm up to all the kids that we went swimming with. He is so much fun to watch when there are other kids involved because he loves to just sit back and watch for the first little bit and then he will slowly get more and more involved. Thanks Buckner’s for letting us play it was really fun for us!
Yesterday we went to the Aquatic Center with Erin and Hayden. It was so much fun. We have not really taken Kaden swimming yet this summer so I was not really sure how he would react. After a few minutes of adjusting he loved it! He was scaring me because he wanted to just be independent and walk around himself. He slipped into the water a couple of times but didn't cry or seem worried. I loved it! I cannot wait to move to our apartment where we have a swimming pool so we can have that much fun everyday!! LOL :)
Kyle and I have been trying to get everything packed as soon as possible so next week is not that stressful. We have everything from the Computer room, Living room and the Kitchen packed and ready to go. (As you can see we have almost filled the Computer room.) My goal today is to get the Bathroom and rooms done. I hope this will be an easier move than our others. I think it will be because we are going to get a big truck and move everything at once. We are getting excited and we I think are feeling ready to move!

A NEW JOB!!!!

Well all of our prayers were answered this week when Kyle got his new job and we found an apartment in Bountiful! We are so excited to be closer to all of our family and friends. Kyle went in for an interview yesterday and they offered him a job on the spot! He is really excited and is looking forward to all the "work" that they have for him! Last night I was so excited that I started our apartment shopping right away. Today I got up and called a good handful of places and then Kyle and I went and looked at some places. We looked at 2 places and by the third we found what we wanted. It was a lot better than we thought!!! Well I guess all I can really say is THANKS for all the prayers that were said in our behalf! We are excited and looking forward to what the future will bring!

A SECOND INTERVIEW!!!

For those of you who have not read the rest of my blog last week Kyle had an interview with opsgear in North SLC. He got a call at 8:00 this morning for second interview today at 3:00 so everyone keep us in your prayers we really want this one!!!

Happy Father's Day!!!

Today was a fun day! Kaden and I got to make Kyle breakfast in bed and Kaden gave him a fun fathers day card! We went to church and came home and had and nice dinner. I just wanted to take some time to thank Kyle for what a great dad and husband he is. Kaden really loves him and likes to do everything he does. Some of the greatest moments in my life this past year have been watching Kyle play with Kaden. For the little experience he has with children being a dad really seems like it has come natural to Kyle. I am so grateful to Kyle for the kind of husband he is. He works so hard to provide for our family and to be a good husband. I am so grateful for the love and support he gives me in all that I do. I love you and hope it has been a nice relaxing day for you!

The new and improved healthy "candy"

So I thought that I should write about this before I forget! Most of the things that I write on here I write for family and friends to read but also for me to keep a better record of the fun and the little things that go on in our everyday lives. This is one of those that I am writing so that I have it for me to read later!

So the past week has Kaden has been such a good eater. We finally have got him to eat Lasagna and Spaghetti and just today he ate pears with cottage cheese! I was so happy! The other day we were eating dinner together and we had peas. Kaden really has not been interested in any veggies for a while. So Kyle and I decided that we would over exaggerate how much we loved eating the peas. While Kyle was eating he said "yummy candy". Kaden then started looking at the peas and finally tasted one. He ate them all and now he calls peas candy! It is so funny! For all of you who are reading this thinking how weird I am for being excited about this just wait until you have a picky eater and then you will understand! LOL :)

It is kinda hard to see but the sign on the top says "Birthday Girl" It actually came in handy because we got a cheap game of bowling and some free prizes because it was her Birthday! Thanks for being a good sport Kate! I hope it was a memorable Birthday! LOL
Logan Summer Fest

This weekend was so much fun! My little sis Ariel was here and we got to spend time with her and do some fun things. We went to the Logan city summer fest and we played games and watched some fun movies. On Friday it was my firend Kate's Birthday and so we had the great idea to go bowling and rollerblading at the Fun Park here in Logan. The bowling was fun kate totally kicked our butts! Then against my better judgement I went roloer blading. LOL :) I have not been roller blading in years!!!! At first it was a little rough but after about 10 minutes I got comfortable and it started to be really fun. So then I had this great idea to have a race with Ariel! Kate went to one end to judge who the winner is and Ariel and I went to the other. We started off slow but got faster and faster! I accidentally misjudged where I needed to slow down and I ened up body checking the wall! It hurt as bad but I could not stop laughing! I was just picturing in my mind how rediculous that must have looked to everyone else! :( Then about 30 minutes later kate and I heard this scream from across the scating rink. We turned around and it was Ariel! She was laying on the floor spread eagel and her hair was in her face. I was laughing so hard I could barly make it over to see if she was ok. We finally got her up and we all sat down and laughed for a good 20 minutes. Now I feel really bad for laughing because come to find out she bruised he tail bone pretty bad and she spent the rest of the night moving around like a little grandma! LOL All in all it was a fun night that I will forever remember next time I even think about roller blading. LOL ;0 (Sorry I forgot to get pictures rollerblading.)

Yesterday was an exciting day! Kyle had an interview at a place called opsgear in North SLC! We both were feeling nervous about it so we said a prayer before we left Logan and before the interview. Kyle said he went in feeling confident and relaxed. He really liked the place and the things that they told him he would be doing. I think that one of his favorite parts was when they showed him the break room with 6 plasma screen TV's and 6 Xbox’s! LOL I guess all the guys there are big gamers also! LOL ;) Kyle said he left feeling really good about the job! We will get a phone call tomorrow to know if he got the job or not! So everyone keep us in your prayers we really want this one! We decided that since Kyle had an interview in SLC that we would make a day of it and go to the Zoo! It was so much fun! My family came up for Jared's birthday lunch and then they ended up going to the Zoo with us. I really enjoyed being with them, especially my dad. It is always memorable when my dad is able to join in the fun! I love you dad! Jen Cooper and her three Kids Luke, Alita and Anna were all able to come with us too. I was not able to get a group picture before they left but we sure had fun having them there! Thanks Jen! It was such a wonderful day to have thanks for everyone who made it so wonderful!

We attempted to go on a bike ride BUT the little boys just would not have it! They cried and screamed the whole bike ride! (It was mostly Kaden) I am lucky I got this picture of them before they started crying.

This was Kaden's favorite part about the whole weekend! There was this cute dog, Chucky that would sit and fetch for hours. We keep telling eachother that it would be cruel not to get Kaden a dog. Kyle and I still cannot get over how much fun Kaden had! He wouldn't even have noticed if we would have left. He is definitely an outdoors boy!

This last Saturday we had so much fun with Tyler and Amber! For those of you who don't know Tyler is Kyle’s cousin. Tyler and his wife lived next door to us all last year while we were up here in Logan! Then they moved to Colorado so Tyler could attend Vet School. We have really missed them this year it is just not the same up here without them! On Saturday they were here for Amber’s family reunion and invited us up for dinner. We had so much fun talking with them and catching up with them. We got to see Landon their little boy that we have only seen once since he was born. He is so freaking cute! I really loved watching him and Kaden enjoy the cold outdoors!

I cannot help but laugh when I see these pictures! 2 nights ago Kyle and I decided that it would be fun to play a one and one game of basketball with Kaden’s little hoop. We raised it up as high as it would go and moved some furniture and played one on one! We were laughing so hard! Kyle kicked my butt in that so I asked him to play me in PIG. So he played me, and guess who won? ME! All in all it was a pretty silly night but it was something that I will definitely remember! LOL Thanks for the great fun hunny!

Growing up way to fast

So I thought these pictures would be fun to post. I found these while putting the recent pictures on the computer! I know I have said this a thousand times but I really cannot believe how fast Kaden has grown. I really remember having Kaden like it was yesterday. Looking at pictures like this really reminds me how much I need to enjoy the time that I have with Kaden because it goes by way to fast.

The Batman Hat

So the other day I was in Wal-mart and Kaden and I were looking around for some summer clothes for him. We found this Batman hat and Kaden put it on and would not take it off! It was crazy because he has always hated hats ever since he was little! So I had to buy the Batman hat! Kaden wears it every time we go out to go for a walk or ride in the wagon. I love it!

We just got this wagon the other day and Kaden loves it! Anytime we go for a walk he always wants to ride in the wagon. It has been so fun that Kyle and I try to go every night on a walk just before Kaden goes down for bed.
