Yesterday was just one of those days were you feel like everything that can goes wrong. It all started when our Alternator went out on the car! Ahhh! I know! It happened luckily right when Kyle pulled into work. Right next to where Kyle works there is a mechanic that specializes in Honda's but he said he would look at it. So Kyle not really knowing any better or knowing what to do has the guy special order the new alternator and asks him to put it in. He quotes us $450 for everything!!! AHHHH! Kyle just wants the things fixed because it’s our only car and he has no other way of getting to work so he tells him OK and then calls me with the news. I kind of freaked out a little. This is the first time that something so major has happened and we really we not prepared to fork out that much. So I start looking everywhere to see if I can find something for a better deal. So basically I found out that the guy was ripping us off big time! I mean like by more than $100! So what it came down to is that we found a friend that would put the new alternator in but the guy made us buy his that he ordered. Lets just say that neither Kyle or I where very happy about the bill. So anyways the whole point of me telling you this story is not to rip on Kyle because he really did the best he could and what he thought was best. We both talked and we learned a big painful lesson from this experience. The main reason why I wanted to write about this experience is because of our little ray of sunshine. After Kyle told me the news I really just could not see how we were going to make it work with all the other bills and things that we have to pay this month. So needless to say I did spend some time crying trying to figure out what we are going to do. (REMEMBER I am pregnant too! I think that’s where most of it came from LOL) So all day yesterday Kaden was just the sweetest little boy that I have ever seen. He kept following me around trying to get me to tickle him. He would lay on the ground and ask me to eat him tummy. He was unusually snugly and was very loving all day long. Then when Kyle got home he did the same for him. By the end of the stressful day Kyle and I were surprisingly happy. At the end of the day when we knelt down and said prayers it was really all thanks to our Heavenly Father for such a wonderful little angel. I am so grateful for the opportunity Kyle and I have as parents to have such an amazing little spirit in our home. I will forever be grateful for the laughter and the smiles and the wonderful spirit Kaden brings into our home. We feel very blessed to have such a wonderful child that brings so much to our lives. I just hope as parents we can all remember and take the time to learn from our little children because really they are the ones teaching us everyday about the important things in life. All in all we are taking this as a learning experience and we now know next time what we need to do if something like this happens. We have so much to be grateful for and we know that they are all blessing from our Heavenly Father.

When I was reading this I got chills. Thanks for telling us your testimony, I agree that we really learn from our children! We have all had experiences like this that you learn "the hard way", but some times it was not as "hard" as it could have been, it is just new. Good to hear from you, keep us posted about EVERYTHING!!!
