Getting out of Debt

This morning as I was looking at our money and figuring out some things I was excited to find out that we will have both our student loans paid off by the end of this year! Because of the company that I am not working with we both have had this passion for getting out of debt and staying on a budget. This year we have saved and paid off so much of our debt it is crazy to see the numbers. It is so exciting to discipline ourselves now to save for emergencies and for retirement and other things that we want to do in our lives. I cannot put into word how much Kyle loosing his job scared both of us. I hated that fear of not having a plan or anything to sustain us financially except to have to rely on other people. After going through that Kyle and I never want to experience the same thing again. I know there are always possibilities of it happening again many times through out our life but now that we are learning the importance of building up our food storage and having 6 months of expenses put away in case something like that happens again the fear is slowly leaving me. I love this feeling of being prepared in case life comes at us to fast. Knowledge is power! I challenge everyone that reads this to start today and make a plan for your future. Learn about the things that will give you stability, security and financial freedom in your lives so that you can live like you want to live and laugh like you want to laugh and help others do the same along the way. If you don't know where to start I have some ideas on things that can really help you know where to start and what to do.
