Some exciting firsts and more...

We have had some fun things happen with Parker the last few weeks. He had his first taste of rice cereal. As you can see in the video he really did not like it. He broke my heart when he cried after I gave him a taste. I swear he knows that if he eats the cereal that he won't be nursing as much. He is such a funny child. He is so much more vocal and attached to me that Kaden ever was. He just all around has a different personality. I love it!!!! He really loves taking baths, watching Kaden play. He loves people he will smile at anyone who will give him some attention. He loves to snuggle and to be held and rocked to sleep. I am still adjusting to having two and to having a little baby. But I would not trade it for anything! I love being a mom!

This broke my heart. But I have been trying everyday to give him a little taste so he can get used to it!

He has had a hard time rolling over because he still is having some problems with his neck. He does not have a lot of strength so this was great that he got this far.

This is a small clip of what Parker does for about 4o min to an hour a day. I love that he is so vocal.

This was about a month or more ago. This is when he really started to show that he loves baths!

We have been working with Doctors for the last 3 months to help with Parkers head. He has improved a lot over the last few months. We will find out next month if he will need a helmet or not. If his head shape has not improved than we will plan on getting the helmet to fix his head. He will have to wear it for 9-16 weeks all day everyday. I really hope he does not have to.

4 years and all eternity to go!

Kyle surprised me with beautiful flowers and a very thoughtful card. It made the day special.

I had a cookie bouquet delivered to Kyle at work. These were the two cookies that ate together.

Kyle and I just celebrated 4 years of marriage! It was an interesting celebration but that is life I guess. We celebrated by taking a family trip to Bear Lake. For the most part it was relaxing. Kaden had a very hard time sleeping so that made things difficult but it was still fun. We went to a play and dinner at pickleville playhouse one night. Then spent another day at the beach. Kaden really loved the beach. He really love chasing after all the birds that he could find. While Kyle and I spent most of our time relaxing and listening to Harry Potter audio book. ( We were trying to get through it before we go and see it opening night.) It was a much needed family get away.

Kyle and I agree that the last four years have been some of the best years of our lives thus far. Looking back we cannot believe how fast these four years have gone. We have grown as a couple and still are learning more about eachother everyday. I am so grateful for Kyle and the man he is. I am grateful that he works so hard so that I can fulfill my dream to be home with my kids.

Fun 4th of July!

We had so much fun this 4th! We went down to Manti on Friday night and we took Kaden to Ice Age 3. He has so much fun at the "big moobie". We really enjoy those times that we can do one on one with him again. So Kaden got to bed really late Friday night. The next morning I wake about about 4:30 to feed Parker and Kaden thought it would be a good time to wake up for the day. I cannot believe that he lasted all day on so little sleep but he did. The day was full of fun with the Parade at nine, and then the fun games and booths at the park, and then a family BBQ at one. There was also a slip n' slide that Kaden totally loved. For some reason he thought he was in charge of making sure everyone gets wet. So he had the hose for about an hour squirting everyone he could. It was so much fun to watch him laugh every time he got someone. It never got old! After about an hour on the Slip n' slide it got a little windy and he wanted to wrap up in his towel for a few minutes. He sat on Kyles lap and it took only about 2 minutes and he was totally out. It was a fun and exhausting day for all of us!
