Baseball Game!

Nanette called Kyle last week and asked him if he wanted to go to a Bee's game here in SLC. Kyle was so excited to go and we found out Kaden got in for free so Kyle took Kaden with him. From what I understand Kaden loved the game. Kyle said he was always watching for the Bee! They finally got close and Kaden was scared. I could tell they had fun because by the time they got home they were both pooped and went right to bed! The next couple of days were fun for me though because Kaden just kept talking about the Bee and baseball. It was so much fun to listen to him jabber about it! Thanks Nanette for inviting Kyle and Kaden! They really enjoyed it!

MOVING!!

Some fun that I had with my aunt the week before the move!

I have to say I really was not looking forward to moving this last weekend! I was stressing about everything getting packed and done. So I said my prayers every night asking my Heavenly Father to bless us that we may get everything done that we need to. So we decided that the night before we would pack the truck and just leave in the morning so it was not so hot! I was kind of dreading it because it just seems like it takes so long. What I really didn't realize it that it would only take about an hour because we had about 8 couples from our ward some over and help. I was so overwhelmed with gratitude to them for their help. It went by so fast and all the men packed the truck and most of the women helped clean. It really made it so much harder to leave. So I want to say thanks from the bottom of my heart to all those that helped us move. You will never know what kind of ease this brought to our move. So it has been a week since we have moved and so far we love our new place. Air conditioning and a pool make for a nice cool summer! LOL we really have felt welcomed in our new ward and I have met many women that stay home that I can do things with during the day. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for bringing us here and guiding us to a place that we feel at home and welcome.

Kyle's Birthday

Kyle's Birthday was so much fun! We decided to go to my parents house the Monday of Kyle's Birthday because my parents wanted to do a BBQ for him to celebrate his birthday and getting a new job. (He also had work the next day in SLC and we thought the drive would be easier for him to make from my parents house) So my parents got steaks for everyone and we had a really nice BBQ and cake for Kyle. We were also able to have Garrick and Julia and Rhett and Alyssa over to celebrate with us since they live so close. It was so much fun to have them over! After the BBQ Kaden went down for bed and my mom and dad said that they would listen for Kaden while we went out. So Kyle decided it would be fun to go to Nickelcade in Orem and at first I really did not think it would be fun but it was! We played some really fun games and they gave Kyle 25 extra nickels for his birthday. Julia and I got stuck or maybe addicted is a better word to one game that we found and we ended up winning about 1100 ticket together. By the time we all were done we pooled all our tickets in for Kyle to get something. We had over 1900 tickets and so we all got a little something to take home! It was a pretty fun night. I think the best part for Kyle and I was just being able to hang out with our friends again. Anything we can get together and do with them is fun!
