Oh man oh man! Kyle and I just had the trip of our life! We went to California last week with the company that I am working for. Kyle was able to see the Ocean for the first time and play on the beach. We actually played beach volleyball with some people that we met. It was so fun!
How our week went was we flew out on Wednesday morning at 10:30 which was supposed to be 6:30 am but the flight was delayed. It was fine because now Kyle and I can say that we slept on the floor in the airport! LOL But we flew out on buddie passes my aunt gave us which was less that $100 for both of us round trip. That was a sweet deal and so worth the 6 hour wait to get on the plane. So we flew into Cali and our friend picked us up and we checked in really quick and went straight to the beach. It was so beautiful! The weather was warm and Kyle and I went boogie boarding in the water. That was a real memorable moment for me. Then we went to dinner for my bosses birthday. It was a blast! That night we all came back to the hotel and had a fun game night with everyone! There was tons of laughing and lots of inside jokes made that night! I loved every minute. Especially because Kyle was himself and so comfortable with everyone there. That made me really happy!
Then the next day we got up bright and early and went to Disneyland with everyone! I was so nervous about this day because I wanted Kyle to have fun so bad! We go there and I was so very happy that we were there with Jamie and Sara! They knew exactly where to go and what to do that would be fun for Kyle. We started out on Indiana Jones and then went on the some others that Kyle really liked. About half way through the day we split up and went into groups. Some went to the big coasters and some went and saw other things there. It was perfect! At the end of the day there was an amazing water show that was put on in Disneyland. It was breathe taking and so beautiful! It just sealed the deal on a honestly perfect day at Disneyland. We came home and passed out we were so tired that night. :) The next day we spent at the beach with everyone. We went to Laguna Beach and Hunnington that day. It was so beautiful! We played volleyball with some random people that we met and loved every minute of that! Also when we went to Hunnington Beach there was a farmers market that was amazing! It was right on the beach and so fun to walk through. Then we sat and ate some fresh fruits and nuts just soaked in the sun and the moments on the beach. Then while the men played some ultimate frizbee the women walked down the beach and talked. This was one of my favorite moments of the trip because I was with some really amazing and inspiring women that have some great ideas on how to build connection for women! I love every minute of that!
We also had an amazing opportunity to go to Sea World. To me this was the most magical and special day. It took me back to my most cherished memories as a child. As I sat and watched the Killer Whale show tears were just streaming down my face because of the feelings I felt there are as child. I had not felt that for a long time. It was also such a special day because I got to share that experience with Kyle and 3 other people that I love and adore. Jamie, Sara, and Doug. It was the most perfect day I could ever imagine.
All in all it was the most wonderful trip ever with so many of the people that I love!
