Parker Update

I am so excited! I went to Parker's head doctor this weekend and his head is almost normal. He has had his helmet on for a little over a month now and I have seen dramatic improvements! He has gone from 12 mm difference on each side of his head to now only 5 mm. The doctor said an average head is 4 mm difference so he will only have to wear the helmet for a few more weeks. I am so relieved to hear this! Also some more great news is that his neck is doing much better! We will only have to go maybe one more time and then we will be done! I really believe that going to the Chiropractor really helped a ton, along with blessings and prayers. I am so so relieved that Parker will not need botox injections. I am so happy I just thought I would share!

Here is a fun video that I took tonight. Parker has been laughing a ton and I finally got it on video. This is something that we have to pleasure of hearing every night. It is part of our routine to play this game. There is no better sound than a baby's laugh.

Melt my heart!!!

Okay so you all have to bear with me for this post! I have to have a little time to brag about my child. I know that this is a biased opinion because it is coming from me but..... I just have to say that Parker really is the cutest little boy I have ever seen!!! LOL There is something about this little child that just melts my heart and is so special. I love all the hair that he has! Kyle and I did not really have hair when we were little so I have been really surprised that he has so much. I really love the fact that he is so snugly! He goes to sleep so much better if I rock him. Some night that is so hard because I feel like I have so many things to do but the nights that I take that time there is always something inside of me that says enjoy this now because it will go by so fast. As a mom I feel like sometimes I have so much on my plate that I am missing out on those little important things like rocking my boy to sleep. I just think that all of us moms need to stop ever so often and remember to slow down and take advantage of the moments that we have with are kids right now because before we know it they will be grown. I think this quote I found yesterday really sums up what I have been thinking a lot about lately. "Cleaning and scrubbing can wait til tomorrow...For children grow up, we've learned to our sorrow. So quiet down, cobwebs; Dust go to sleep; I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep."

Be grateful for all that we have as mothers!

Really I cannot help but laugh when I see this picture.

Halloween was a full night of fun this year. We had a really fun dinner with my family and took Kaden trick or treating. It was the first year that we took Kaden around and he totally loved it! At first he did not really know what to do but after 3 houses he got the hang of it and after every house he would say "we going to another house!" I loved watching him get so excited and showing us every piece of candy he got. Kyle was such a trooper dragging the wagon up the hills by our house. I think he also really enjoyed watching Kaden. Kaden only lasted about 2 blocks of houses but that was perfect for us. It was fun to have Kristine and her kids Kaden and Brooklyn with us. We really enjoyed being with them. After trick or treating we left to our friend party. It was so much fun to be with everyone that could make it! I have to say we really missed Josh and Alisha and Darrick and Erin! But the night was fun we played games and watched a movie and carved some awesome pumpkins. Everyone looked so great! It is always a blast getting together with this group of friends because we all get along so well and the guys are so goofy that we all end up laughing a lot. My favorite part of Halloween this year was that Kyle dressed up with me! He never has in past years and so to see him all dressed up and having fun made the whole night so fun! Thanks hun!
